I shouldn't be that surprised to read my friend's article featured on the Straits Times, since she is a Communication studies graduate and naturally will write reports for magazines and newspapers, moreover she isnt the first among my friends to feature an article on ST. But well, I am surprised because firstly, the world is so small! Secondly, the writer is my friend. On a nation wide newspaper. Its a sign that my generation is starting to make an impact on the nation.

When I was young, it was hard for me to envision that my friends around me may become high flyers, or becoming businessmen earning millions of dollars. But its not hard now. In future, perhaps the top doctor, top lawyer, top auditor, top banker could well be my classmates or someone that I know of. And even if they do not become the high flyers, they do contribute to the nation in their own forms. I'm gonna be so proud of my friends.

My friend, I think you did quite a good job, but I am rather inspired by your love for photography and writing reports than your structured article. You guys go to the extent of doing research out of your own pocket money, while sadly I don't see that kind of passion in myself and my colleagues in my line. I am somewhat envious of you.

Im always very curious that why football is the most watched sport around the world. So I came to a conclusion that it is a highly publicised sport, with footballers-turn-celebrities and their enormous salaries but with extragavant spending habits, the millionaire club owners who seem to be wasting so much money on failed plans, the EPL which seems like never-ending, the keen competition among the teams as a result of players committing silly acts now and then. As the spectators have always been male predominated, i find it weird when girls around me starting discussing about the previous night's football match and even posting comments on fb. Its must be just the world cup fever.

It's almost 2 years since i started working. But why am I still undecided on what I am really interested in?

Suddenly realise the importance of family. =) And also suddenly realise how few friends i actually have :( These days I seldom ask my friends out, because of my endless work and also my friends who are busy most of the time.

There ain't many colleagues in office that can really have a heart-to-heart talk with. Most of the time I just walk in and do mind my own business. Im totally oblivious to any office gossips and that doesnt bother me much. I dread going to office.

Was sms-ing shauna about our organ exam, which we seriously think we had screwed it up big time. I really wonder how on earth can anyone pass that organ exam??? My organ teacher reassured us that he tried many times before he passed that grade.

Boring life~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Back from HK, which seriously didnt excite me a single bit. This is like the 5th or the 6th time going to hk including those one day hk trip from Macau. Despite that, I still don't know HK inside out.

The only things I bought were 2 shirts from disneyland (which i refuse to buy but mum says they are nice). Mummy almost lost her luggage but luckily Jetstar managed to transport it back to singapore.

ok NO MORE HK TRIPS FOR ME FOR THE TIME BEING. I dun care whether the dim sum is nice, or the disneyland is fun or hk actors handsome or even if ridiculous news like XU LIU SAN is going to close down or what.

Think i failed the organ exam terribly today. Always fail when it comes to this particular component that requires me to sight read and play with the rythmn box with all the chords and block chords and improvise without any prior practice at all. ARGH. Shall retake the exam 1 year later.

ok im picking up blogging again
